Top Christian and Jewish Faith Jewelry Gift Ideas

When it comes to finding the perfect gift for a person of faith, jewelry is an excellent choice. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, faith jewelry connects a person to their spiritual values. Many people hold their faith jewelry near and dear to their hearts, especially if it was given to them by a loved one.

At Moriah jewelry collection, we have created a rich variety of original faith-based jewelry. All our pieces are hand-made using 14K or 18K gold and top-grade gems.

The main feature that sets our faith jewelry apart is that it incorporates Moriah stone. The Moriah stone retrieved from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Israel. The Temple Mount is holy to all three monotheistic religions, and pilgrims from all over the world visit it to pray and connect to God.

By incorporating Moriah stone into our unique faith jewelry, wearers have the opportunity to take a piece of the Temple Mount with them wherever they go.

Diamonds star pendant frame made of Temple Mount stone in rose gold

The Star of Bethlehem, or the Christmas star, symbolizes the miraculous birth of Jesus.

On Christmas Eve, the Star of Bethlehem shone brightly in the sky and led the wise men to where Christ was born. Our interpretation of the Star of Bethlehem consists of a delicate diamond studded star, with one of the points drawn downwards.

The star is surrounded on either side by an embracing 18K gold half-moon shape.

Fish pendant Eva collection made of yellow gold and Temple Mount stone with a diamond

The fish symbol has long connected Christians to their faith. In Greek, the word for fish is ‘ichthus’ or ‘ichthy’, and the early Christians used it as an acronym – I= Iesous (Jesus); CH=Christos (Christ); TH=Theous (God); U= UIOS (Son); SOTER (Savior). During the periods of Christian persecution they could secretly identify each other through the symbol.

We have created a modern interpretation of the ancient Ichthys fish. The body of the fish is made from pink toned Moriah stone. The head and tail are crafted from 14K gold, and a small diamond is placed in the eye.

The proverb “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill. Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I remember thee not; if I set not Jerusalem above my utmost joy” (Psalms 137:5-6), is one of the most well-known proverbs in the Jewish culture and expresses the longing of the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem.

As can be seen in the pendant, the proverb is engraved into white 18K gold and is surrounded on either side by Moriah stone. At the center, a large diamond adds a sense of eternity to the piece.
